This curious green sea turtle decided to take a closer look and swam right up to my camera in Maui. She is far less shy than most Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. An interesting fact about green sea turtles is that males will have long tails while female tails will be much shorter. When viewing sea life, espcially turtles, please avoid touching them even if they approach you as the oils on our hands can expose them to deadly bacteria.
