MARYNA JONES, Digital Painting, Blue Moose Art Gallery

Maryna is a South African who fell in love with art in America. She started by selling Christmas cards to her family and friends in Colorado. By word-of-mouth, her handmade Christmas cards became very successful, but she didn't want to limit herself just to cards. Maryna took an extra step in digital art, and now she is in love with digital painting.

In this technology-driven world that we live in today, almost everything is digitalized. Digital art, once called computer art or new media art, refers to art made using software, computers, or other electronic devices. Like other forms of art, the primary purpose of digital art is to express the artist’s emotions, and good quality digital art requires the same amount of skill, talent, originality, knowledge, and effort as a traditional art piece.
