David Seibel is a Fort Collins native. His mother was a ceramic sculptor, so he was attracted to pottery at an early age. He started his pottery career 40 years ago and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a BFA in 1989. David taught pottery for the city of Fort Collins Parks and Recreation for 10 years. His work has been shown in galleries throughout the southwest over the years. Dave prefers the process of Raku firing, which produces unique and nonfunctional pieces perfect for the home or office. His vessels are currently on display in galleries throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico (Santa Fe and Taos).
