Cody is a New Western Artist. Born in Northern Colorado, Cody moved to the Denver area 10 years ago to pursue his art more seriously. In the intervening years, Cody has displayed in galleries and shows around the country. Cody’s work seeks to tell single-image-stories of the West, often using different layered techniques to bring his subjects to life. With images that are “more West than West”, he seeks to build up and undercut many of the myths and truths that we hold as uniquely American. Cody now resides and works in Longmont with his wife Hannah and two children.
