Alesa Locklear has been on an art journey for many years. Based in Fort Collins, she is skilled in various mediums, but she recently found that mixed media allows her the most self-expression. Layers of texture and meaning communicate her passion for beauty and color, and this is the most personal art she’s ever created. “With fewer rules and boundaries in mixed media, I feel the most connection to the creativity that comes through the art.” Her paintings reflect her relationship with nature and color, and she enjoys adding a touch of mystery to her work. “I want to make art that touches people and reminds them of beautiful moments in their lives.”
